Seven days, 22–28 October, with two full days in Seville to finish.
The Costa Blanca in the morning, arriving in Andalusia in the late afternoon.
Take the A-7 towards the Costa Blanca.
Old-town streets, blue domes and viewpoints.
A long stretch on the AP-7 and A-7; have lunch before leaving.
Check in, stroll through the centre and enjoy some tapas.
This is the longest driving day. Altea provides a proper break along the way; avoid adding another stop.


Choose a leg to see the actual road, including towns, bends and access roads.
Marbella → Ronda on the A-397: from the Costa del Sol into the mountains on a wonderfully scenic road.
The Alhambra, Nerja Cave, Royal Alcázar and Seville Cathedral. Set these four time slots first.
Altea breaks up the first day's long drive. Granada and Ronda each get one night, and Seville gets three.
